Alla Prima coffee cup from tonight’s still life painting sesh

Had fun tonight painting this coffee cup Alla Prima style. I have a composition in mind which would look getter with some coffee in it. I was concerned that the cup would look strange holding coffee because it looked more like a tea cup but was gladly informed me that it is actually indeed a coffee cup. Old fashioned style which is even better for this still life painting. Also had fun watching shows and movies while painting. I finished the episodes available for Kim’s convenience on Netflix then was watching The Vanished, which I’ll continue tomorrow when I resume on this still life painting of  alla prima cup. Highly recommend Kim’s Convenience on Netflix. Very funny
