Watching movies while painting

Whether in painting, music, or anything I seriously pursue, my ultimate goal is to rise to the level where I perform effortlessly and simply be in the moment without having to think about the tedious technical aspects. Of course, the hard part of this is becoming comfortable with the technique to the point where it becomes second nature. I am at that point with painting. I can multitask while painting and watch movies . I’ve not yet achieved this level of performance with the cello yet. But with painting, I can enter this zone of creative expression from which nothing can distract me. I’m watching The Trail right now on Amazon prime video as I paint. Bit slow, but enjoying it.
